When I want to put together an easy and comfortable outfit, my default is usually throwing on a dress and flats or my go-to yoga pants. I don't generally put too much thought into it. I rarely wear jeans any more but when I scored these asos acid wash jeans from the plus bus in LA last weekend, I had to have them. If you're in the Los Angeles area, I definitely suggest checking them out. The chic store front is brand new and located on a quiet street in Eagle Rock. They have plenty of clothes in size ranges up to 28 that I saw! And you can swap your gently used clothing for credit!
I scored this long line button up from nordstrom rack this weekend. It's a linen blend so it's super breathable for when the summer heat starts to kick in. I bought it because I can wear it as a dress or a shirt. I thought it paired really well with the jeans since storms have cooled the temperature down here in Vegas. The purse is a vintage leather coach hand bag from Proud Mary of course.
I also scored these chrome silver platforms from nordstrom rack this past weekend. They're actually Dr. Scholls so they feel like little clouds. I generally don't like most sandals and wouldn't go for this style, but they look like alien mom shoes and I am inexplicably drawn to that look. They're only slightly wedged so they're easy to walk in while still giving some height and support.
Las Vegas is so full of Art and color that I find myself just driving or walking around downtown every weekend looking at all of the wall murals and great mid-century motels. I love the contrast of the vibrant street art against the desert backdrop. Las Vegas truly is an oasis and I am enjoying my time here. If anything, I feel really inspired to create.
My hair is always in a bun lately as I try to grow it out. I love wearing statement earrings to compliment a messy top knot. These are vintage 80's posts in an iridescent shade. I paired them with a bold lip to brighten my face against my dark outfit. I love playing with colorful accessories and makeup when wearing all neutrals.
